On June 9, employees of the light industry sector celebrated their professional holiday.

All textile enterprises of the Republic took part in an exhibition held in Yekaterininsky Park in the capital city.

Traditionally, the largest exhibition area was presented by Tirotex, featuring a number of themed displays as well as a retail section offering a wide range of textile products.

The new "Charm" collection, distinguished by its delicate floral patterns, attracted the attention of numerous visitors.

The Tirotex exhibition stands were visited by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development of the PMR Sergey Obolonik, First Deputy Minister Alevtina Slinchenko, Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy Viktor Guzun, Minister of Social Protection and Labour of the PMR Elena N. Kulichenko, Chairman of the Union of Industrialists, Agrarians and Entrepreneurs Yuri Cheban, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions Viktor Ivanchenkov, as well as executives of other light industry enterprises of the Republic.

Tirotex General Director Andrey Mezhinsky briefed the guests on the company’s latest developments that have been introduced into mass production and spoke about current trends in export sales.

The celebration continued with a ceremony honoring the company’s best employees with state awards, as well as the sale of textile products at retail outlets located throughout Yekaterininsky Park.
