Following a request from European customers, Tirotex organized a new SMETA social audit. This event was conducted by experts from SGS auditing company.

The audit included an inspection of Tirotex`s production facilities, individual and group interviews with employees, and a review of documentation on compliance with labor laws. Following the audit, the specialists gave a positive assessment of compliance with the ETI Code of Conduct in the supply chain, and Tirotex is now registered on the international SEDEX platform.

Sedex is an acronym for Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, which means the platform supports the development of responsible and ethical business practices in supply chains globally.

According to Andrey Mezhinsky, CEO of Tirotex, "When placing orders, major global brands must be confident not only in the quality of their products but also that their reputations will not be harmed. One of the key factors in maintaining a brand`s business reputation is compliance with ETI business ethics and manufacturer registration on the international SEDEX platform. High auditor ratings undoubtedly have a positive impact on Tirotex`s operations by increasing transparency and reducing the frequency of audits, thereby successfully continuing to build our competitive advantage in the European market".
