Today Pridnestrovie celebrated the Day of Light Industry. This is a professional holiday for all workers in the industry, when manufacturing enterprises sum up their activities, demonstrate new collections and the best samples of their products. The flagship of the Pridnestrovian textile industry, Tirotex, was no exception. According to the tradition, the enterprise has displayed its expositions and opened retail outlets in the center of the capital`s Victory recreation park. Citizens and guests of the city had an excellent opportunity not only to get acquainted with the latest developments of bed and table linen, but also to purchase their favorite products.

Stands with Tirotex’s expositions were visited by Deputy of the Supreme Soviet the chairman of Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance Oleg Vasilatiy, vice-president of UIAPB, vice-president of the CCI PMR, chairman of the FPP, the first deputy of minister economic development, as well as the heads of other enterprises of the republic`s light industry sector. The general director of Tirotex, Andrei Mezhinsky, told the guests about the latest developments introduced in mass production, about the trends that can be traced in the sale of export products, what difficulties the company faces and how to overcome them in the face of tough competition in the global textile market. The honoured guests expressed confidence that Tirotex would develop dynamically thanks to the talent and skills of the workers, increase their competitiveness and offer customers high-quality goods at an affordable price, and also wished the general director success in further development and prosperity of the PMR textile industry leader.

Andrey Viktorovich congratulated the employees of Tirotex On the professional holiday, noting that thanks to their work the company is flourishing today: “The high reputation of our company on the international textile site is directly proportional to success. Constantly improving your skills and professionalism, improving the quality of products, you carefully preserve and increase the glorious traditions of veterans of the enterprise. Your work is what the whole republic is proud of. ” During the festivities, the best workers of Tirotex were awarded letters of appreciation and letters from the President, medals "For Labour honours" and “Labor Glory” orders.

The Cultural Center of Tirotex also took part in the celebrations. A well prepared concert program on an improvised summer stage gathered around a hundred spectators. Music and dance performances were prepared by the workers and their children.
